Celebrating three decades in music, Michael Salgado remains one of the most influential voices in Tejano, boasting seven Latin Billboard chart hits, two Latin Grammy Awards, and a career defined by passion, authenticity, and an unbreakable bond with his fans. For longtime supporters and new fans, December 5 promises to be a historic night—one that honors a remarkable legacy while celebrating the future of Tejano music.

The final stop of Salgado’s highly anticipated 30th Anniversary Tour has officially been relocated to El Volcán in San Antonio, following unforeseen internal issues at the original venue, the Rodeo Event Center. Organizers confirmed that the show will continue as scheduled, ensuring fans get the milestone celebration they’ve been promised.

“Due to issues out of my control, we have moved the event to El Volcán to keep the date we promised to our fans who have supported us for the past 30 years,” said Salgado. “All tickets purchased online or at Janie’s Record Shop will be honored at the new venue. It’s going to be one incredible night. I’m bringing my friends Jaime y Los Chamacos, Grupo Asalto, and Zodiacal to kick off the show.”

As Michael Salgado reflects on 30 years in the industry, he says the greatest reward isn’t the awards or accolades—it’s the blessing of living out his passion every single day. In a recent interview with Domingo Live, Salgado shared a heartfelt sentiment about his journey.

“I think for me, the greatest accomplishment is to have been able to make my dream come true,” he said. “To wake up every day and live your dream—how better does it get? That, for me, is the biggest.”
