Freddie Records has officially announced the highly anticipated release of Le Seguiremos, the brand-new album from Tejano legend Jay Perez, set to drop on all digital platforms Friday, December 19, just in time for the holiday season.

The 12-track album includes the smash hit singles “Incompetente En El Amor” and the powerful title track “Le Seguiremos.” The label confirmed that PreSave and PreAdd links, along with the full tracklist and additional details, will be revealed soon.

Perez shared the excitement directly with fans in a video posted to Instagram, saying: “Our brand new album Le Seguiremos under Freddie Records will be on iTunes, Spotify, all that good stuff. So purchase your copy December 19th. We’re very, very excited about it and looking forward to hitting that number one spot on the Latin iTunes. We can’t do it without your help.”

This new release marks another milestone in Perez’s longstanding relationship with Freddie Records. In October, “The Voice” officially extended his recording agreement with the iconic label, continuing a partnership that began in 2012.

Le Seguiremos serves as the highly anticipated follow-up to Perez’s Latin Grammy-nominated album El Patrón, a project that further cemented his place among the genre’s elite.

With a career spanning more than three decades, Jay Perez remains one of Tejano music’s most influential and beloved figures. From his early rise performing with Latin Breed and David Lee Garza y Los Musicales to launching a powerhouse solo career in the mid-1990s with fan-favorite albums like Steel Rain, Perez’s dynamic voice and magnetic stage presence have made him a cornerstone of the genre. Over the years, he has earned 40 Tejano Music Awards, a testament to his enduring impact and unmatched talent.

Fans can expect more updates soon as the countdown to December 19 begins. Perez and Freddie Records are gearing up for what promises to be a major moment in Tejano music—and possibly a No. 1 debut.
