Tejano icon Elida Reyna has announced the second of four special guests who will join her for her Farewell Tour Finale on Friday, December 12, at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, Texas. In an emotional reveal shared on social media, Reyna confirmed that Jesse Turner of Siggno will take the stage with her one last time.

“There’s no way we could have a ‘Final Show’ without including our dear friend Jesse Turner,” Reyna said. “In 2011, we recorded ‘Juntos Hasta Morir,’ a song that not only impacted my career but also resonated with numerous individuals experiencing loss or heartbreak, becoming one of my most successful songs to date. Come watch us perform this song one last time Friday, December 12th at the Majestic Theatre.”

Turner joins the already announced Michael Salgado, marking two of the four guest artists scheduled to perform with Elida Reyna y Avante as they close out an extraordinary 34-year touring career.

A Legacy of Hit Collaborations

Reyna and Turner share one of the most celebrated partnerships in modern Tejano music. Their award-winning duet “Juntos Hasta Morir”––released on Reyna’s 2010 album Fantasia––earned her a Latin Grammy for Best Tejano Album and remains their most iconic collaboration. The pair also teamed up for “Siempre Te Recordaré,” and Turner penned Reyna’s 2025 single “Tonto A Mi Lado.”

Their chemistry on and off the stage has produced fan favorites known for heartfelt storytelling and powerful vocal delivery—making their reunion at the finale especially meaningful.

Meanwhile, Reyna’s musical history with Michael Salgado spans years of celebrated duets, including “Quedemos Como Amigos” and “Amor O Costumbre.” In 2015, the pair released a full mariachi album, El Hombre Y La Dama – Por El Amor Al Mariachi, a testament to their artistic synergy.

Earlier this week, Reyna promised fans a countdown of exciting announcements, revealing a new guest artist every week leading up to the final show.

A Full-Circle Farewell

As the most decorated artist in Tejano Music Awards history, with 42 career awards, Elida Reyna is preparing for a night that will be far more than a concert. It will be a homecoming.

Reyna reflected on why the Majestic Theatre was the only choice for her last performance.

“I chose San Antonio because it is here that I stepped into the spotlight back in 1994 at the Tejano Music Awards for the very first time, and it is here, at the iconic Majestic Theatre, that I will take the stage one last time,” Reyna shared. “This is proof that if you have tireless work ethic, the will to never give up and, most importantly, the ‘songs’ to carry a career, you can live out a childhood dream and perform on a stage you thought you could never reach. As I step away, I hope my songs continue to inspire and motivate future generations. As I close this chapter, we’d love to see our ‘EYA’ fans one last time Friday, December 12th for an unforgettable night.”

Reyna’s journey began with her unforgettable 1994 performance of “Luna Llena” before a crowd of 50,000—a career-launching moment that introduced Tejano music to one of its most powerful female voices. Over the next three decades, she delivered hits like “Duele” and “Te Sigo Amando,” forever shaping the genre.

Her final concert promises to be an emotional, history-making celebration for fans who have grown with her music for more than 30 years.
