Domingo Elias 3Zero is set to release his highly anticipated new single and music video, “Me Desperté Llorando,” a powerful cover of the timeless song written and composed by legendary Argentine singer-songwriter Leo Dan and popularized by Grupo Pega Pega. Produced by Jesús “Chuy” Vivian, this emotional rendition showcases Domingo’s signature Norteño/Conjunto style and commanding delivery, blending tradition with his own artistic edge.
“This one is a special cover of a classic by Grupo Pega Pega, but I’ve given it my own unique Norteño/Tejano style and sound,” Domingo told Tejano Nation. “For me, doing covers—especially from different genres—is a way to really show who I am as an artist. I take the heart of the original song and then transform it into something fresh and personal.”

While “Me Desperté Llorando” pays homage to a beloved classic, Domingo shared that he also has new original music on the way. “My next single ‘Mi Mala Suerte’ is an original composition I plan to release around October 25th if everything goes as planned,” he added. “With this release, my goal is to bring something different to the industry while still honoring the roots of the music we grew up with. I want people to feel both the nostalgia of the original and the excitement of hearing it in a brand-new way. At the end of the day, it’s about connecting with the audience and leaving my own footprint in this música we all love.”
Hailing from Mission, Texas, Domingo Elías 3Zero’s journey is as inspiring as his music. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran (2000–2004), he served in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Somalia as both a Marine and later a private military contractor. After years in conflict zones and a personal battle with PTSD, Domingo found healing and purpose through music, transforming his lived experiences into raw, heartfelt storytelling that deeply resonates with audiences.
Since launching his professional music career in 2024, Domingo has quickly become one of the most talked-about emerging artists in the Tejano scene. In less than a year, he has:
