45th Annual Tejano Music Awards Announces Official Nominees

The Texas Talent Musicians Association (TTMA) has revealed the official nominees for the 45th Annual Tejano Music Awards (TMAs) — and it’s shaping up to be one of the most exciting years yet for Tejano’s biggest celebration. The milestone event will take place on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Texas Rodeo Saloon in Katy, Texas, marking the first time in years the ceremony moves from its longtime home in San Antonio, the “Tejano Music Capital of the World.”

Leading the nominees this year are Stefani Montiel, Monica Saldivar, and Lucky Joe, each earning multiple nods across major categories including Vocalist of the YearAlbum of the Year, and Song of the Year. Other top contenders include Pio Treviño, David Lee Rodriquez, and Los Hermanos Peña.

This year’s Tejano Music Awards promises to deliver an unforgettable evening of performances by some of the genre’s biggest names, including Grupo SolidoRicardo Castillon y La DiferenziaRam HerreraMonica SaldivarLucky JoeDa Krazy PimpzDavid OlivarezThe HomeboyzAvizoJohnny HernandezEl Plan, and Max Baca Y Los Texmaniacs, who will perform a special tribute to the late Tejano and conjunto legend Flaco Jimenez.

Tejano icons Ram Herrera and Johnny Hernandez will be honored with Lifetime Achievement Awards for their lasting impact on Tejano music and culture.

Adding even more energy to the night, beloved comedian Alex Reymundo will host the ceremony, bringing his signature wit and humor to what’s long been called the “Biggest Night in Tejano Music.”

The evening kicks off with a red carpet event from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., followed by the awards ceremony at 7:00 p.m.Tables for the event sold out in under 72 hours, but general admission tickets remain available.

Since its inception in 1980, the Tejano Music Awards, produced by TTMA, have honored excellence in Tejano music while preserving the genre’s rich cultural roots. This year’s milestone 45th anniversary event promises a night full of passion, tributes, and electrifying performances celebrating the best in Tejano today.
