Tortilla Factory is breaking musical boundaries with the release of “Tus Ojos”, a genre-blending single featuring West Coast rap icon The Game and powerhouse pop singer Paula DeAnda—the first Latina ever signed to Arista Records under the leadership of Clive Davis. The track, set to make waves across multiple genres, launches under a major new distribution deal with Zaytown Global, led by Grammy-winning super producer Zaytoven.

Four distinct versions of “Tus Ojos” hit digital platforms simultaneously, each offering fans a unique listening experience:

  • Texas Version (Cumbia/Latin R&B/Hip-Hop with Mariachi) — Produced and co-written by Gabriel Zavala, this original mix infuses traditional Tejano and mariachi roots with fresh urban sounds.
  • ATL Version (R&B/Hip-Hop) — Zaytoven brings his signature Southern style, blending smooth R&B melodies with hard-hitting hip-hop beats.
  • Miami Version (Tropical R&B/Hip-Hop) — Created by Riyad Hasaan, this mix offers tropical vibes with a sleek urban edge.
  • LA Version (Pop/Hip-Hop) — Produced by Erik Griggs, aka Blu2thDr. Dre’s main musical producer, this version blends polished pop with West Coast hip-hop flavor

The project fulfills a long-held dream of Tortilla Factory founder the late Tony “Ham” Guerrero, who envisioned the next generation of the band reaching audiences worldwide. His son Alfredo Guerrero shared with Tejano Nation, “My daddy always told me, Tejano is our roots, but our vision is beyond — worldwide. He said, don’t ever be scared to ask anyone to work with you. All they can say is no.”

Alfredo’s bold outreach led to collaborations with Zaytoven, The Game, and DeAnda. Zaytoven, celebrated for his Grammy-winning work with Usher and millions of records sold, was eager to join the project. “I always try to bring artists into the Zaytoven world and give them the authentic sound that makes my music special,” he said. “This was the perfect fit.”

Paula DeAnda praised the collaboration, saying, “Every version keeps getting better. I love the cumbia version because I’m from West Texas, but it’s great to let fans choose what they vibe with.”

Producer Gabriel Zavala reflected on the journey: “It started as an organic idea in San Antonio. To see how it grew, with Mariachi Divas, The Game, Paula, and all these incredible producers—it’s beyond what I imagined. This is bigger than us. It’s about opening doors for our entire industry.”

Tus Ojos represents Tortilla Factory’s most ambitious crossover yet, signaling the rise of a global Tejano fusion movement. All four versions are now streaming on all major digital platforms.
