Tejano legends La Fiebre are turning up the heat with the release of their electrifying new single, “Ayúdame”, just in time for a milestone celebration—Fiebre Fest, happening this weekend in Pasadena, Texas. The long-awaited single marks the band’s first new music in nearly three years and serves as the lead track from their highly anticipated anniversary album, honoring an extraordinary 40-year legacy.

Known affectionately as The Pride of Pasadena, La Fiebre teams up once again with Freddie Records to deliver a fresh, high-energy ranchera fused with the band’s trademark Tejano-Rock sound. Written by Texas songwriter Isaac Rodriguez and recorded at Legends Sound Studios in Corpus Christi, “Ayúdame” showcases everything fans love about the group—and then some. With horn arrangements by founding member Luis Ayala and longtime saxman Jonas Flores, fiery accordion lines from Julian Gonzalez, and the powerhouse vocals of Angel Cantu, the track is a bold reintroduction of a band still pushing boundaries after four decades.

Production on the single was overseen by engineer Mariano “Nano” Herrera, with executive production by Freddie Martinez, Jr., John Martinez, and Marc Martinez of Freddie Records. Guitarist Rudy Rocha, bassist Joe Angel Reynosa, and guest drummer Joey Jimenez round out the track’s dynamic instrumentation, making “Ayúdame” an instant fan favorite.

La Fiebre recently joined Tejano Nation Radio to share more about the upcoming album, hinting at a blend of the classic Fiebre sound with fresh, unexpected musical directions. “We try to give you the traditional Fiebre, but also introduce some of the new ideas we’ve come out with,” the band said. “It’s fun music. We’re always experimenting.”
