EDINBURG, TX — Latin Grammy-nominated Tejano star Lucky Joe is riding high on the success of his latest single, “A.M.O.” — a cheerful cumbia that has not only become a viral sensation on TikTok but also inspired young hearts at an elementary school in Edinburg, Texas. This week, Lucky Joe took time to visit Anita E. Villarreal Elementary, where he read, sang, and shared the uplifting “A.M.O.” dance trend with the students, creating a memorable and heartwarming experience.

In a touching video shared on social media, Lucky Joe can be seen leading the students through the dance steps of “A.M.O.” and expressing his gratitude for the warm reception. “I want you to know that I’ve performed in front of thousands of people throughout my career, but never in my life have I ever been as nervous as I was earlier this morning singing to Anita Villareal Elementary!” he shared. “They did an amazing job and even sang along to my latest single, ‘A.M.O.’ — what a humbling feeling. Thank you, Lord, for all the blessings. Here’s our future, our children!”

“A.M.O.,” written by Lucky Joe and co-produced with Freddie Martinez, Jr., reflects the artist’s current state of happiness and fulfillment in his personal life. The lyrics radiate positivity and love, inspired by his relationship with his wife, Tejano singer Devin Banda. Lucky Joe described the track during a recent interview with iHeartRadio: “This song, to tell you the truth, is very happy. It’s very upbeat. It’s peppy. It’s a happy love. It’s like, man, I love the way you walk. I love the way you talk. I love everything about you.”

He continued, “I think it reflects a lot of how I am right now in my personal life. I’m so happy to be with my wife. I’m in a loving, caring relationship. I’m just in a real good place, man, and I’m so happy about that.”

Fans of Lucky Joe have even more to look forward to, as “A.M.O.” is just the second single from his highly anticipated new album, which is set to feature a collection of original tracks, with 95% of the songs written by Lucky himself. The album will also include exciting collaborations with artists like DJ KaneDevin BandaEliseo Robles (Ramon Ayala’s former lead singer), and even rapper Chingo Bling.
