Tejano star AB Quintanilla III experienced a health scare during his recent trip to Bolivia. The musician, known for his work with Kumbia Kings and as the brother of the late Selena Quintanilla, was hospitalized following a concert in Bolivia earlier this week.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Quintanilla shared, “My trip to Bolivia has been incredible… until last night. Before rumors start, I wanted to let you all know that I was admitted to the ER for dehydration after feeling strange towards the end of our show.” He went on to explain that doctors discovered fluid in his right lung, which required immediate medical attention.

Despite the alarming situation, Quintanilla reassured his fans, stating, “I’m doing fine now and gonna get some rest before our next show.” He expressed gratitude for the support he received from the Bolivian crowd and his followers worldwide.

This incident comes just a few months after Quintanilla’s public outburst at San Antonio’s Tejano Explosion, where he revealed he had been dealing with a cancer scare and mental health issues. In his recent post, he emphasized the importance of taking care of one’s health and promised to return stronger.

Fans and fellow musicians have flooded social media with messages of support, wishing Quintanilla a speedy recovery. As he takes time to rest and recuperate, the Tejano community stands united in their support for one of their beloved stars.
