Isable Marie released her latest single, “Fue Un Placer Conocerte,” on May 7. It’s a cover of the 1977 duet from Rocío Dúrcal and Juan Gabriel.

The smooth ranchera, written by Juan Gabriel, is a classic love song featuring the powerful vocals of Isabel Marie, who won Best New Female Artist at the 2017 Tejano Music Awards.

“It is a powerful song about taking love for granted and now that the girl in the story is finally realizing this, she wants to part ways,” Isabel Marie told Tejano Nation about her latest track.  “I feel you should give every relationship your all and it should never be one-sided.”

Isabel Marie’s version is the lead single from the 15-year-old singer’s upcoming third album. “Fue Un Placer Conocerte” was produced by Abraham Quintanilla for Q Productions and will be available soon at all digital music platforms.
