A 5-year-old African giant pouched rat named Magawa recently received a medal in Cambodia! WHY????
This rat helps detect landmines!!! Because of his small size, Magawa is able to detect TNT without detonating them.
Magawa can search an area the size of an entire tennis court in only 30 minutes and thanks to his expert sense of smell and memory, he can search for these explosives faster than any human!
