Angelica reveals no timeline when it comes to achieving lifelong goals

Tejano newcomer Angelica Alcocer shared the dream of a successful music career has always been a lifelong goal as the San Antonio singer revealed during an interview with the Chicana Chisme podcast.

Angelica has been singing since she was a young girl, over the past few years as lead vocalist with a couple of cover bands, most recenlty with Velvet. Her solo debut Tejano album happened by accident after she walked into Slackmonster Studios last year to help a friend with a project when producer Severo “Sevy” Contreras noticed her talented vocals. She released Girls Night in December 2021 and has a growing a fan base ever since.

The talented vocalist chats with Chicana Chisme host Tori E about her music, goals, and how women sometimes feel they have to choose between their personal goals and family.

The Chicana Chisme podcast debuted in May 2020 and is currently in Season 3. It brings different experiences of Chicanos and Latinos from around the United States, some history, and those hush-hush topics never spoken. The podcast recently joined the Tejano 360 Network and the video version can be streamed on Tejano 360+ apps and Roku.
